The IDI is a Society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and also under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. The main object of the Indian Diamond Institute is to create professionalism within the diamond gem and jewellery trade and industry and to that end organise the development of a higher level of skill in artisans. Carpet Export Promotion Council Of India (CEPC) was set up by the Government Of India in 1982 with a view to promote the exports of handknotted carpets and other floor coverings. The Council advises the Government on export promotion measures and helps the exporter community in bringing their problems and requirements to the notice of the government. It provides expertise in many spheres - both for the Indian exporters and foreign buyers. The council is a high profile body consisting of senior Government officials. It provides the necessary assistance to Indian exporters. It identifies the markets, provides financial assistance, sponsors participation in fairs and exhibitions and also conducts publicity abroad. For overseas buyers/importers the CEPC locates suppliers of repute and standing and provides credibility reports on Indian exporters. The Cashew Export Promotion Council of India(CEPC) was established by the Government of India in the year 1955, with the active cooperation of the cashew industry with the object of promoting exports of cashew kernels and cashewnut shell liquid from India. By its very set up, the Council provides the necessary institutional frame-work for performing the different functions that serve to intensify and promote exports of cashew kernels and cashewnut shell liquid. The Council provides the necessary liaison for bringing together foreign importers with member exporters of cashew kernels. The inquiries received from the foreign importers are circulated amongst Council members. The Council also extends its good offices in settling complaints amicably in the matter of exports/imports either on account of quality and /or variation in fulfillment of contractual obligations. |

Chemicals & Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) was set up on March 28, 1958 by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India to facilitate the export of chemical based and allied products. It’s a role that still perfectly fits this mega organisation of about 4000 members. International development and Governments policies often dictate the course of exports. In its role of facilitator, CAPEXIL activates its umbrella network to monitor and analyse these trends.
